Prus Construction partnered with the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden to deliver a new pedestrian bridge over Erkenbrecher Avenue, creating a safe and fully ADA-compliant connection between parking areas and the Zoo’s main entrance. The prefabricated steel truss bridge, paired with an elevated ramp system, improved visitor flow while blending with the Zoo’s natural setting. Through careful planning, coordinated logistics, and work within a busy urban environment, Prus completed the project on time with minimal disruption, strengthening the Zoo’s long-term commitment to accessibility and guest experience.
